Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a Sales Consultant to assist customers through the sales process and deliver an exceptional buying experience. You will use CRM tools to engage walk-in clients, phone inquiries, and online leads, while understanding customer needs and presenting marine products with clear value.

The role emphasizes achieving or exceeding volume and margin sales goals, maintaining knowledge of boat models and accessories, and providing post-sale support to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
• Prior experience in marine sales is a plus.
• Solid understanding of marine products, accessories, and boating trends preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and engage with walk-in customers, phone inquiries and online leads using CRM; develop relationships by understanding needs.
• Professionally present products, review features and benefits with customers and prospects.
• Manage the sales process from start to finish including presentations, quotes, trade evaluations and pricing aligned with margin goals.
• Close sales and meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of store products, boat models, brands and accessories; stay updated on industry trends.
• Provide post-sale support and promote repeat business by following up with past clients.
• Attend sales meetings, boat shows, store and off-site events.
• Complete and maintain all paperwork throughout the sales process.
• All other duties as assigned.
