Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Prattville, AL is seeking a Boat Business Assistant to provide clerical support for boat, motor, trailer or ATV sales in the Boat Department.

You will help the Sales Manager with paperwork, quotes in IDS, deposits, and closing activities, while ensuring accurate data entry and a high standard of customer service.

This full-time role includes benefits and requires a 21+ year old candidate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position
• Clerical / data entry skills preferably within marine or auto industry
• Good organizational abilities
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Supports customer service and a pleasant shopping experience for all customers
• Assists in selling finance and insurance programs to increase dealer revenues
• Performs closing activities and processes paperwork for sales
• Maintains IDS entries, quotes, deposits, and logs for Sales/Finance/Commission
• Manages funds and daily cash reconciliation and banking processes
• Handles MSO processing, filing, and document safekeeping
• Answers multi-line phones and directs calls accurately
• Maintains office supplies and title/registration paperwork for the boat dealership
• Prepares and files title work and check requests as needed
• Other clerical tasks as assigned
