Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Boat Business Assistant to provide clerical support for boat, motor, trailer or ATV customer purchases in the Boat Department. The role assists the Business/Sales Manager in selling finance and insurance programs and handling closing activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating sale paperwork, maintaining IDS and logs, and ensuring accurate posting of deals within 24 hours of delivery. Strong math, organization, and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position.
• Clerical / data entry skills preferred within marine or auto industry.

Responsibilities

• Supports customer service and a pleasant shopping experience.
• Assists in selling finance and insurance programs to increase dealer revenues.
• Conducts or assists in customer closings and funding activities.
• Coordinates paperwork for the sale process and updates IDS and logs.
• Accounts for all monies received and safekeep funds.
• Performs closing activities and reconciliations at day end.
• Enters activities in IDS and posts deals within 24 hours of delivery.
• Maintains MSO documents and filing systems for easy retrieval.
• Answer multi-line phones and route calls to appropriate associates.
