Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Altoona, IA is seeking a Boat Business Assistant to provide clerical support for boat, motor, trailer or ATV sales in the Boat Department. You will assist the Business/Sales Manager with finance programs, conduct or assist in closings, and manage all paperwork related to the sale.

Responsibilities include processing quotes in IDS, posting deals within 24 hours, handling deposits, MSOs, and daily cash reconciliation while keeping forms and registrations organized.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to assist customers with friendly, professional communication.
• Clerical and data entry skills for marine/auto sales environments.
• Ability to calculate figures, make change, and process payments.

Responsibilities

• Support Boat Department sales process and close customer deals.
• Enter and finalize quotes in IDS and process closing documents.
• Post deals to IDS within 24 hours of delivery.
• Manage MSOs, filing, and duplicate requests as needed.
• Reconcile daily cash, process deposits, and handle till operations.
• Answer multi-line phone calls and route messages to the right teams.
• Maintain office supplies and title/registration paperwork.
