Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Bristol, TN is seeking a Boat and ATV Sales Consultant to help customers compare boats and ATVs and make informed purchases. You will greet shoppers, discuss needs, demonstrate products, and guide decisions with current pricing and promotions.

You will also maintain product knowledge, manage CRM leads, prepare signage, and collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth delivery. The role requires strong communication, cash register operation, and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computer system & Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Assist Boat and ATV customers in making informed buying decisions.
• Engage all customers entering the department in a friendly and timely manner.
• Meet with potential customers to determine their boating and/or ATV needs.
• Provide information necessary to allow the customer to make an informed buying decision.
• Maintain current product knowledge by using available resources (brochures, Internet, training).
• Maintain awareness of advertised items, pricing structures and promotions.
• Work with the Service Department to ensure seamless delivery to the customer.
• Prepare showroom each morning with proper signage and clean, salable products.
• Generate and manage leads in the CRM tool with follow-up activities.
• Participate in events (Boat Shows, parking lot events).
• Complete all paperwork required in the selling process.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals as per status and schedule.
• Keep work area clean and professional; follow company policies.
