Job summary

New Patterns ABA FL in Tampa seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team and lead assessment and treatment for children with behavioral disorders. You will develop individualized plans and monitor progress.

The role includes coaching staff, data collection, and parent training, with flexible hours to support client needs. We offer competitive pay, ongoing training programs, and administrative support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BCBA credential and be eligible for Florida licensure.
• Experience with data collection and behavior assessment.
• Ability to provide parent training and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess levels of functioning through standardized assessments, FBA, and FA.
• Develop detailed assessments, goals, and programming for clients.
• Coach and mentor staff while overseeing program implementation.
• Develop and monitor data collection for all programs.
• Conduct Parent Training on specific treatment goals for families.
• Respond to parental concerns via the Clinical Supervisor for resolution.
• Maintain flexible hours to meet client needs.
• Communicate with Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director in leadership and supervision meetings.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of behavioral disorders in children. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized behavioral treatment plans to promote positive behaviors and improve overall quality of life.

Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Assess levels of functioning through specific standardized assessments as well as Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses.
• Develop meaningful and detailed assessments, treatment goals and programming to address the needs of each client.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff while overseeing implementation of programs with clients.
• Develop and monitor data collection for all programs being run.
• Conduct Parent Training on specific treatment goals that are meaningful to the family.
• Respond to parental concerns regarding programming and/or staffing issues by investigating, gathering information and reporting the the assigned Clinical Supervisor for resolution.
• Have flexible hours to be responsive to client needs.
• Communicate with The Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director on a regular basis and through monthly Leadership meetings and Supervision meetings.
