Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Raleigh is seeking a BCBA to lead our EMPOWER program, shaping caseloads, mentoring teams, and delivering services in homes, schools, and communities across Eastern NC. This full-time role is based in Raleigh with hybrid flexibility and occasional travel.

Salary is $80,000 plus full benefits and professional development support; the role offers a flexible M–F schedule, opportunities for growth, and the chance to work with diverse populations in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required and in good standing.
• NC licensure as a Behavioral Analyst.
• Minimum 1+ year experience with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism.
• Minimum 1+ year supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement and measurable growth.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Train and mentor staff, DSPs, and supervisors in ABA best practices.
• Collaborate across service lines to maximize outcomes.
• Deliver in-service training and represent ESPH at professional conferences.

This position is a full-time opportunity based in Raleigh supporting our Home and Community Based Services team. .

Salary: $80,000 + Full Benefits + Professional Development Support

Schedule: Flexible M–F

Postion details: This is a full-time, salaried position based in Raleigh. It is a hybrid position that does require travel to other areas of North Carolina based on the needs of the clients. We do also have part-time needs available as well as the ability to do contracts for qualified candidates.

Travel Expectations

This role may include variable regional travel requirement depending on program needs. All work-related travel is reimbursed via mileage pay. You’ll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
• Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
• Experience:
• 1+ years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
• 1+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity (preferred)
• Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and unrestricted driving privileges
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & EMR systems
• Ability to work effectively with participants, families, and teams in homes, schools, and community settings
