Job summary

Headway ABA in North Carolina seeks a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a part time or full-time, on-site/hybrid role. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, oversee ABA therapy, and train staff to ensure high-quality care.

You will collaborate with families for caregiver education and maintain open communication to optimize outcomes, while monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field.
  • BCBA certification and active licensure to practice behavior analysis.
  • Assent-based, play-based, child-led ABA approach.
  • Experience conducting FBAs and using VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS.
  • Strong data collection and progress monitoring skills.
  • Ability to supervise RBTs and mentor staff; collaborate with families.

Role Description

This is a part time or full-time, on-site/hybrid role for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in North Carolina. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, overseeing ABA therapy implementation, and training and supporting staff members.

The role also includes collaborating with families and caregivers to provide parent education and maintain open communication to enhance treatment outcomes. Continuous monitoring and analysis of client progress will be integral to the position.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Active state licensure/certification to practice behavior analysis
  • Assent-based, play-based, and child-led approach to ABA
  • Experience conducting FBAs and Skills Assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, Socially Savvy, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based ABA principles, interventions, and ethical guidelines
  • Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans
  • Ability to supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and/or behavior technicians
  • Experience training caregivers and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong clinical decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage documentation and maintain compliance with insurance, funding, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with data collection platforms preferred
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
