Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to advance behavior management programs within our residential youth program in New Jersey. You will plan, implement, and monitor FBAs and Behavioral Support Plans, and train staff while collaborating with administrators, parents, and community partners.

You will identify target behaviors, obtain necessary consents, and contribute to policy development to improve outcomes for youth with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education and BCBA certification.
  • Three years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities involving behavior modifications.
  • Experience developing, analyzing and implementing FBAs and Behavioral Support Plans with data.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and provides behavior management programs for youth in the residential program.

Job description

In conjunction with the Behaviorist Supervisor, the BCBA plans and provides behavior management programs for youth enrolled in the residential program. Provides related services to administrators, staff, parents, and the community as appropriate. Actively participates in the development and implementation of policies relative to the management of problematic behaviors. Identifies target behavior, conducts the Functional Behavioral Assessment as well as the plan development. Obtains all approvals and consents for the behavior plan. Monitors all plans, supervises all documentation, and is responsible for all training of staff involved in behavior plans.

Position is full time with a flexible work schedule and includes the following:

Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education and BCBA certification. Prior experience developing, analyzing and implementing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavioral Support Plans along with the data that supports the plan.
