Job summary

iCare Therapy in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced BCBA to lead in-home ABA therapy for children with autism. You will supervise RBTs, conduct FBAs, develop and update BIPs, and coach families to implement treatment plans with fidelity.

The role requires NC licensure eligibility or current LBA, a Master’s in ABA or related field, and 2+ years of ABA experience. Travel to client homes is expected. Hybrid schedule available and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• North Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum two years of ABA experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Experience supervising RBTs.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other evaluations.
• Identify strengths, needs, and priorities; develop individualized recommendations.
• Create and update Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with measurable goals.
• Adjust plans based on ongoing data and progress.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach RBTs.
• Conduct competency assessments and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure treatment fidelity and clinical excellence.
• Deliver caregiver education and parent coaching.
• Partner with families to set meaningful priorities and support strategy use in daily routines.
• Coordinate care with physicians, educators, SLPs, OTs, and other providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and analyze treatment data.
• Ensure compliance with BACB Ethics Code, HIPAA, payer guidelines, and state regulations.
• Participate in clinical meetings, peer collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts.

Position Summary

The BCBA provides clinical leadership for children receiving in-home ABA therapy and supervises Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Core duties include conducting behavioral assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, analyzing data, coaching caregivers, and ensuring ethical, evidence-based care that drives meaningful progress.

Primary Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning
