Job summary

Applied ABC in Frederick, MD is seeking a Full-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to provide district-wide behavioral support, starting with elementary-level programming.

The BCBA will conduct FBAs, develop and monitor BIPs, train staff, and collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to implement evidence-based interventions aligned with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or a related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing ABA therapy, preferably in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

Initial Placement: Elementary school, with an initial focus on supporting two identified classrooms

Position Scope and Responsibilities

The BCBA will provide comprehensive behavioral support and consultation services across the district, with an initial focus on elementary-level programming. Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and supporting Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs)
• Developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing individualized behavior support plans
• Providing behavioral consultation and recommendations to students, teachers, and school teams
• Conducting classroom observations and collecting, reviewing, and analyzing behavioral data
• Providing staff coaching, training, and collaborative support related to behavior management and intervention strategies
• Supporting behavioral components of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborating with educators, related service providers, administrators, families, and other members of student support teams
• Providing broader district-level behavioral consultation and services as needs arise
