Job summary

You will document repairs, road test as needed, meet flat-rate metrics, and contribute as a mentor to technicians and apprentices.

Qualifications

• Maintain ASE/manufacturer certs and stay current with data, bulletins, safety/OSHA regs.
• Read and interpret customer complaints; diagnose and advise findings.
• Complete authorized repairs per policy; return warranty parts as needed.
• Document all repairs using internet tools and Repair Order docs.
• Meet flat-rate hour production-based metrics as prescribed by management.
• Act as leader, mentor, and trainer to technicians and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ASE and manufacturer‑required certifications; stay up to date with all manufacturer technical data and service bulletins; ensure safety/OSHA compliance.
• Read and understand customer complaints; diagnose and advise findings; complete all authorized repairs and road test as needed.
• Properly document all repairs using internet tools and Repair Order documentation per dept requirements.
• Meet all flat-rate hour production-based metrics as prescribed by management.
• Act as a leader, mentor, and trainer to employees in Technician, Lube Technician, and Apprentice Technician roles.
