Job summary
Schneider Electric seeks a seasoned BMS Systems Support Engineer to diagnose and resolve complex Building Management Systems issues for field engineers and partners. You will configure servers, workstations, controllers, databases, and use remote desktop tools to troubleshoot in customer environments.
Key qualifications include Niagara N4/AX certification, TAC LON/BacNet knowledge, and a strong IT background with TCP/IP networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
- 10+ years of field experience in related technical support roles are required.
- Must have Tridium/Niagara Field Experience and Niagara N4/AX Certification.
- HVAC/BMS control background and IT/networking knowledge essential.
- Experience with TCP/IP networks, servers, firewalls, and Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system problems.
- Understand control logic (DI/DO/AI/AO/Relays).
- Learn new products quickly and reference manuals for knowledge.
- Document support cases and resolutions thoroughly.
- Interact with customers with varying levels of product knowledge.
