Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. in Mossville, IL, seeks an Engineering Project Lead to drive planning, execution, and delivery of Battery Management System projects supporting electrification initiatives. You will coordinate hardware, software, and validation teams to align schedules and budgets from concept through production.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, strong PM skills, and leadership of complex technical programs. Domestic relocation is available; visa sponsorship is not.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements.
- Experience with electronic systems or electrification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in development and delivery of Battery Management System solutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
- Coordinate activities across hardware, software, systems, validation, and application engineering.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues; drive timely resolution.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
