Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled BMS Operator in Stanton, Tennessee to monitor and control building systems including HVAC, lighting, and energy management. You will diagnose faults, respond to alarms, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5 years of HVAC experience, BMS knowledge, and certifications in HVAC or related systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years of HVAC experience including troubleshooting of RTUs, cooling towers, and related equipment.
• HVAC or BMS operation certification is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the BMS to ensure proper HVAC, lighting, electrical, and safety system performance.
• Perform diagnostics and coordinate repairs with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Respond to alarms, investigate, and escalate as needed; generate performance reports.
• Assist in system upgrades and configuration changes; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support to facility teams and ensure efficient energy management.
