Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a skilled BMS Operator to control building systems on a large North American EV battery campus. The role emphasizes real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing energy use via the Building Management System.

The position requires coordinating with maintenance teams, addressing alarms, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Shifts may include weekends and nights per site needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related experience.
• Certification in HVAC or BMS operation is an advantage.
• At least 5 years' experience in HVAC and related systems.
• Familiarity with building management systems and controlling HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and operate BMS to ensure proper system operation.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot BMS issues with maintenance team.
• Respond to alarms and faults and take corrective actions.
• Generate reports on system performance and energy usage.
• Assist in configuring and upgrading system settings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support for facility teams on BMS operations.
• Act as first responder in BMS-related emergencies.
