Job summary

Catapult Federal Services is seeking a detail-oriented BMS/HVAC Controls Technician in Oklahoma City to ensure HVAC and power systems operate efficiently. The role requires programming, troubleshooting, and validating control systems.

Ideal candidates will have 3–7+ years of experience and a relevant technical degree. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with professional development support.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of controls or Building Automation Systems (BAS) experience.
• Deep understanding of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH units).
• Proven ability to read and modify controls schematics.
• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, IP configuration).
• Excellent troubleshooting mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission BMS/HVAC control systems.
• Troubleshoot field devices, VFDs, and network communications.
• Review MEP drawings to develop or modify control sequences.
• Collaborate with facility teams, contractors, and vendors onsite.
