  • Proven ability to read and modify controls schematics.
  • Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, IP configuration).
  • Excellent troubleshooting mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Program and commission BMS/HVAC control systems.
  • Troubleshoot field devices, VFDs, and network communications.
  • Review MEP drawings to develop or modify control sequences.
  • Collaborate with facility teams, contractors, and vendors onsite.

Job Description

Seeking a detail‑oriented BMS/HVAC Technician who understands mechanical systems and thrives on problem solving. The role involves making buildings smarter by ensuring HVAC and power systems operate at peak efficiency. Responsibilities include programming, troubleshooting field devices, and validating system performance to maximize uptime.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Program and commission BMS/HVAC control systems, specifically Schneider EcoStruxure.
  • Configure system points, graphics, alarms, schedules, and histories.
  • Troubleshoot field devices, VFDs, and network communications (BACnet/IP and Modbus).
  • Review MEP drawings to develop or modify complex control sequences.
  • Execute rigorous point‑to‑point testing, functional testing, and trend validation.
  • Collaborate with facility teams, contractors, and vendors onsite.
  • Document all red lines, as‑built drawings, and support ticket updates accurately.
  • Mentor junior technicians when in senior‑level role.
Required Experience / Skills
  • 3–7+ years of controls or Building Automation Systems (BAS) experience.
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH units).
  • Proven ability to read and modify controls schematics.
  • Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, IP configuration).
