Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) across commercial facilities. This full-time role involves startup, commissioning, and continuous improvements of controls hardware and software, with direct customer interaction in the field.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HVAC equipment, BAS components, and communication protocols like BACnet.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC controls, DDC, BAS/BMS, or building automation.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and low-voltage control systems.
• Familiarity with BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS).
• Perform startup and checkout of HVAC control systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot controllers, sensors, actuators, relays, VFDs, and other control devices.
