Altium Packaging in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines and oversee the production line. The role requires troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to maximise efficiency and profits.

Collaboration with teammates is essential to meet production goals. Responsibilities include machine setup, calibration, quality checks, data entry for SPC, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience as a machine operator preferred.
• 2+ years' blow mold operation preferred.
• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals are desirable.
• Ability to work overtime and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle (calibration, cleaning, etc.).
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks; keep records.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control.
• Troubleshoot, perform minor maintenance and repairs.
