Job summary

Altium Packaging in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer equipment and manage the production line. You will troubleshoot process problems, perform minor maintenance, and collaborate with peers to maximize efficiency and profits.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of machine operating experience (preferably blow mold), and the ability to work the 12-hour Day shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator preferred.
• 2+ years’ blow mold machine operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Set up machines to start a production cycle (calibration, cleaning).
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed).
• Operate blow-mold machines (wheel, reciprocator or shuttle).
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks.
• Check output to spot machine-related issues.
• Keep records of approved and defective units.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on blow mold equipment.
• Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.
• Maintain activity logs.
