Job summary

Altium Packaging in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines and manage the conveyor system. You will troubleshoot process issues and perform minor maintenance to keep production lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include setting up machines for production, calibrating, monitoring speed, conducting quality checks, logging data, and collaborating with team members to maximize efficiency and plant profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator.
• 2+ years’ blow mold machine operation preferred.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines and conveyor system.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance.
• Set up machines for production and calibrate settings.
• Conduct quality checks and keep production records.
• Enter data into SPC/quality control databases.
• Maintain safety and follow corporate standards.
