Job summary

OneBlood, Inc. is seeking an Operations Improvement Leader to optimize blood collections, reduce product waste, and align donor operations with inventory demand.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to design, test, and sustain improvements that boost donor experience and supply reliability. The role combines hands-on change-agent duties with strategic process optimization, applying Lean Six Sigma, BPM, and data-driven methods to deliver measurable efficiency, cost savings, and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/operations/engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement initiatives to reduce discards, deferrals, and improve collection accuracy.
• Drive strategies aligning donor collections with inventory demand and utilization.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams across multiple functions.
• Conduct assessments to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze donor processes to improve qualification, retention, and experience.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting for discards, deferrals, and productivity.
• Establish monitoring and validation to sustain improvements and ROI.
