Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience; blood banking preferred.
• Strong leadership, customer service, technical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to track and analyze data, identify trends, and take action.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Results-oriented with a track record of achieving goals.
• Professional appearance and manner; energetic and self-motivated.
• Ability to stay calm and effective in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and support to managers, supervisors, and staff.
• Oversee daily mobile blood collection operations and staffing levels.
• Participate in hiring, performance management, and staff development decisions.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify trends, and improve productivity and quality.
• Manage staffing schedules and reduce unnecessary overtime.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and employee retention.
• Ensure an exceptional donor experience at mobile drives.
• Address donor concerns and staff issues professionally.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate changes and recognize performance.
• Oversee materials, equipment, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor collection goals, automation rates, and conversion data.
• Partner with recruitment to meet projections and goals.
• Analyze data to increase automated collections and overall productivity.
• Monitor inventory and communicate operational needs.
• Manage on-call staff rotations and budget with Executive Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
