Job summary

BioBridge Global seeks a Training Specialist to deliver, develop and implement training programs for Blood Donor Collections (BDC) personnel. You will assist in competency assessments and ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

In this role you will maintain strong relationships with Blood Donor Operations management, monitor training completion and contribute to continuous program improvements through direct observation and scenario-based assessments.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid United States driver’s license.
• ASCP Donor Phlebotomy Technician (DPT) preferred.
• Minimum three years of blood bank experience, or two years blood bank plus two years training.
• Familiarity with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and MS Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to operate motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist Training Supervisor with training program implementation.
• Train Blood Donor Collections technicians in technical procedures.
• Make recommendations for training improvements.
• Evaluate competency levels through observation and scenario-based assessments.
• Maintain relationships with Blood Donor Operations management.
• Attend meetings and workshops as required.
• Monitor training and competency documentation.
• Assist in training other BBG staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide support to other departments.
