Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking a Donor Services Trainer to provide and document training for apheresis, special donations, and routine whole blood collections. You will ensure procedures align with FDA and AABB regulations, maintain training records, and assist with audits.

Travel to fixed sites may be required for shorter stays based on training needs. Responsibilities include on-floor duties when needed, staff development, and support for department management while upholding

Qualifications

• Two years of blood collection experience.
• CPR Instructor’s Certification (preferred prior to hire, but may obtain after).
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills including written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides training and development for staff performing donor collections.
• Maintains CPR instructor certification and provides CPR training for new hires.
• Performs remedial training as needed per management.
• Keeps trainee progress/ challenges communicated to the appropriate manager.
• Ensures training manuals are inspection/audit ready and compliant with standards.
• Supports training-related issues during inspections/audits.
