Job summary

Rhode Island Blood Center is seeking a Telerecruitment Specialist to secure appointments for blood donation sites. The role reports to the Telerecruitment Supervisor and Manager and focuses on daily donor recruitment, excellent donor service, and maintaining data accuracy.

The schedule includes weekday hours with some weekend coverage, and the position offers opportunities to engage with community blood drives.

Qualifications

• Must have prior sales phone experience with above average close rates.
• Excellent donor/customer service and written/verbal communication.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible hours including weekends; capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily telephone recruitment of past and potential blood donors—accountable for achieving individual, department and company blood collection goals through donor scheduling.
• Provides donor customer service—answers questions, comments and inquiries maintaining excellent public relations through telephone, verbal and written communications.
• Educates donors concerning donating and eligibility criteria.
• Markets company-sponsored events to donors—giveaways, raffles, sponsor and community blood drives.
• Maintains accurate and updated donor data, ensures documentation, quality assurance, quality control, and follows SOPs.
