Job summary

Rhode Island Blood Center is seeking an Account Manager to cultivate and expand relationships across Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut territories. You will plan blood drives, coordinate sponsor events, and drive donor recruitment to meet hospital and patient demand.

You will educate donors and sponsors, present at meetings, and analyze drive performance to optimize results. A valid driver’s license, vehicle, and flexibility for evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years experience in sales, public relations, management, education, customer service, business development, or non-profit.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual blood collection goals by planning and organizing blood drives and donor events in partnership with sponsors.
• Coordinate meetings with sponsors and manage recruitment activities to optimize drive performance.
• Deliver high-impact meetings and presentations to educate sponsors and recruitment committees.
• Identify markets and prospects to expand donor recruitment and sponsor accounts.
• Maintain accurate information in account calendars and generate volunteer and drive reports.
• Act as brand ambassador by increasing visibility at community events and speaking at industry meetings.
