Rhode Island Blood Center is hiring a phlebotomist to support donor collections across RI and MA. You will greet donors, perform blood draws, and maintain equipment while following safety and infection-control procedures. Training is provided and travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable in a hospital-like environment.
• Willing to travel and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcome donors with a smile and provide outstanding service.
• Perform blood draws and collect specimens per protocol.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment for blood collection.
• Verify and update donor information in BECS system.
• Educate donors on donation types and inventory needs.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety rules.
• Record keeping and documentation for blood drawing activities.
• Educate donors on the importance of blood donation.
