Job summary

LifeStream is seeking a Full Time Donor Center Phlebotomist in Murrieta, CA. You will conduct donor registration, basic health assessments, and phlebotomy for Whole Blood collections, ensuring donor safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include donor interviews, adverse reaction management, QA of equipment, and accurate documentation. Requires HS diploma or GED, CA driver's license, CPR, and phlebotomy training/certification where applicable.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
One to two years customer service experience preferred.
Phlebotomy certificate/licensure preferred.
CPR certification and valid CA driver’s license required.
Phlebotomy certification and related training preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide donor registration and interviews.
Perform basic health assessments (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, hematocrit/hemoglobin).
Conduct phlebotomy for allogeneic/willeful blood collections.
Monitor donor recovery and manage adverse donor reactions.
Perform routine equipment QA and maintain documentation.
Assist with donor recruitment and donor program promotions.
Work at multiple draw locations as needed.
