Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field required.
• State licensure or certification preferred (ASCP, NCA).
• 1–2 years generalist experience; supervisory or lead tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, schedule and direct the department to meet turnaround times and budget.
• Provide on-site analysis of operations including workflow, test performance and quality.
• Oversee staff training and competency; monitor QA/QC and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain documentation and audits.
• Update SOPs and forms; review test results prior to release.
• Delegate tasks to backup supervisor and manage timecards weekly.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets and implement new methods/tech.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
