Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or Physical Science is required or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technician with >2 years of high complexity clinical lab experience.
• Certification: ASCP or equivalent, maintained without lapse during employment.
• Clinical lab experience as Medical Technologist/CLS or MLT in a clinical lab and knowledge of lab operations.
• 1+ years’ high complexity testing experience if Blood Bank is involved.

Responsibilities

• Lead a laboratory department with direct oversight of staff performing clinical testing.
• Ensure quality control, safety, and problem solving within the lab.
• Demonstrate leadership in managing personnel and shift operations.
