Job summary

EY is building a Digital Asset Research Center in the US, focusing on deep technical understanding of blockchain tech and digital assets. You’ll work across software development and assurance services, collaborating with auditors and consultants to deliver innovative client solutions and research in a rapidly evolving field.

You’ll join a growing, collaborative team serving US clients while coordinating with peers in Europe, India, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript development: Node.js, Express, React, Angular, etc.
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or similar protocols (Hyperledger, Solana).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Git or similar version control.
• Container tech such as Docker or Podman.
• Cloud services: Azure, AWS, or GCP; DevOps practices.
• Agile team experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development, front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos on digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with auditors to test financial statement assertions for digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and design innovative client solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with leading practices in this growing area.
