Job summary

EY’s Digital Asset Research Center in the United States seeks a software professional to research and develop for digital asset assurance. You will build full‑stack solutions, create technical memos, and work with auditors to test asset-related financial statements.

The role involves traveling as needed and collaborating across global EY teams. The team focuses on blockchain tech, smart contracts, and digital assets, delivering tools and methods for audits, due diligence, and client solutions.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE/ISM or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and dApps.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js/Express/React/Angular.
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols (Hyperledger/Solana).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Container experience with Docker/Podman.
• Cloud/DevOps with Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours.
• Reliable transportation to EY office.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to test financial statement assertions relating to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative client solutions.
• Stay updated on leading practices and apply new methods where relevant.
