Job summary

EY is seeking a driven software engineer to join the Digital Asset Research Center in a hybrid US-based role. You will work on full-stack development, research blockchain tech, and collaborate with auditors to validate digital asset financial statements.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related software development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React, Angular).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols (Hyperledger, Solana).
• Proficiency with Jest or Mocha testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Git or other version control systems.
• Container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• DevOps and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to test financial statement assertions relating to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative client solutions and core product enhancements.
• Keep up-to-date on emerging practices and identify opportunities to apply them.
