Job summary

EY’s Digital Asset Research Center in the United States is seeking a skilled software professional to join a growing team of developers, auditors, and technology consultants. You will research blockchains, smart contracts, and digital assets, and work with clients to deliver assurance services across the digital asset ecosystem.

You will contribute to full-stack development across frontend and backend, create technical memos, and collaborate with auditors to test financial statement assertions.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript development such as Node.js, Express, React, Angular, etc.
• Experience with Ethereum or other protocols like Hyperledger, Solana, etc.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Git or other version control systems.
• Container tech such as Docker or Podman.
• DevOps and cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical writing and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement techniques to test financial statement assertions relating to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client solutions and core products.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging practices and apply them where relevant.
