Job summary

EY is building a Digital Asset Research Center in the United States. The role involves full-stack development with a focus on blockchain technologies, smart contracts and digital assets.

You will work with auditors and technology teams to deliver assurance services and innovative tooling. The team collaborates with global EY groups and clients across the digital asset ecosystem, offering growth and learning opportunities in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React, Angular, etc.).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols (Hyperledger, Solana, etc.).
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, etc.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Git or other version control systems.
• Docker or Podman for containerization.
• DevOps and cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical writing and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to test financial statement assertions related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client solutions and core product offerings.
• Stay up-to-date on leading practices and identify where to apply them.
