Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a versatile software developer to join the Digital Asset Research Center. You will work across front‑end and back‑end stacks, explore public blockchains, and help design tests and tooling for assurance services in digital assets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React, Angular).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols (Hyperledger, Solana).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
• Database technologies (NoSQL and SQL).
• Git or other VCS, Docker/Podman, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience in Agile teams and strong written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation to EY office and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Full‑stack software development including front‑end and back‑end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to test financial statement assertions relating to digital assets.
• Design and implement techniques to support client solutions and core product offerings.
• Keep up‑to‑date on leading practices and identify where to apply them.
