Job summary

EY is seeking a full‑time software professional to join the Digital Asset Research Center in the US. You will work on full‑stack development, research public blockchains, smart contracts, and digital assets while collaborating with auditors and technology consultants to deliver assurance services.

You’ll contribute to testing, tooling, and methodologies across global teams, with travel as needed and a hybrid work model that balances client work and in‑office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with Node.js/Express/React/Angular and solidity or other protocols.
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha; database and version control experience; containerization with Docker/Podman; cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Previous development experience in Agile teams; strong communication skills; willingness to travel beyond standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Full‑stack software development including front‑end and back‑end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to test financial statement assertions related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative client solutions.
• Keep up‑to‑date on leading practices in this fast‑growing area.
