Job summary

EY's Digital Asset Research Center in the United States seeks an experienced software professional to help research and test digital asset technologies, smart contracts, and related controls. You will work with auditors and technologists to develop tools and methods for assurance services across global clients, collaborating across regions and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Demonstrable knowledge of Node.js/Express/React/Angular.
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
• Database technologies including NoSQL and SQL; version control with Git; container tech like Docker/Podman; and cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Previous development experience in Agile teams; excellent written and verbal communication; willingness to travel; reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement testing techniques for digital asset assertions.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative client solutions and core product support.
• Keep up-to-date on emerging best practices in digital asset technologies.
