Job summary

The AZEK Company is seeking a Blending Operator to operate and monitor blending systems, ensuring accurate material distribution to support production in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will work with production teams to maintain quality, manage inventories, and follow safety and quality procedures while adapting to a 24/7 manufacturing schedule. Prior blending or materials handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, material handling, or blending experience.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain material levels within silos using computerized blending systems.
• Operate blending equipment and adjust material distribution as needed.
• Coordinate with production teams to support scheduling and goals.
• Inspect material bins to ensure inventory levels are adequate.
• Transfer materials between railcars, silos and production areas.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials.
• Ensure dust and regrind materials are stocked at bag and dump stations.
• Receive, sample, and stage raw material trailers in designated locations.
• Unload wood flour trailers and maintain cleanliness of unloading/storage areas.
• Operate a yard truck to move trailers throughout the facility.
• Complete inventory counts and maintain accurate production records.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
