The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is hiring for a Buildings HVAC Specialist. The role installs, maintains, diagnoses and repairs building HVAC systems and related equipment across the service region.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent with technical training or relevant experience, CDL licensing, and hand tools as required. SEPTA offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a leading transit system.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years training at an accredited Technical School or equivalent.
• Experience in installation, operation, maintenance, testing and repair of HVAC systems including electrical, mechanical, electronic and pneumatic components.
• Knowledge of regulatory agency codes and requirements.
• Must satisfactorily complete qualifications test and performance tests as required.
• Must obtain CDL driver's license.
• Must possess or obtain hand tools as designated by the position's tool list.

Aufgaben

• Installs, operates, maintains, tests, and overhauls HVAC equipment and related components.
• Inspects and repairs boilers, burners, piping, pumps, and controls.
• Locates trouble in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls and diagnoses with testing devices.
• Manufactures, installs and repairs HVAC components and accessories.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports hazards affecting operations and the public.
