Job summary

GE Vernova in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a production support technician to move blades, load/offload blade frames, and manage blade and transport frame inventories. The role supports multiple departments and maintains the exterior of the facility.

Responsibilities include moving blades between stations with a variety of equipment, ensuring proper bracing per specs, reporting issues, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry objects up to 30lbs.
• Stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Ability to make quick or repeated movements with hands, arms, legs, or body.
• May require usage of respirator.

Responsibilities

• Move blades between stations using equipment.
• Position and load blade parts and completed blades with various handling equipment.
• Ensure blades are braced and strapped per specifications.
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, or unsafe conditions.
• Wear PPE and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures and federal laws for waste disposal and hazardous materials.
• Maintain 5S standards.
