Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an equipment-handling associate to support production with blade and web movements, loading and offloading blades, and managing frame inventory. The role covers protecting assets, maintaining facility exterior and contributing to all departments’ workflow.

The candidate will operate material handling gear, ensure proper bracing/strapping, and follow safety procedures while maintaining 5S standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Able to perform quick or repeated movements with body parts.
• May require use of a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Move blades between stations using equipment.
• Position and load blade parts and completed blades with material handling gear.
• Ensure blades are braced and strapped per specs.
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, or defective materials.
• Wear required PPE and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Comply with safety procedures and regulations on waste disposal and hazardous materials.
• Maintain 5S standards.
