Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Blade Technician in Grand Forks, ND to trim, scuff, and reinforce all blade types. You will follow evolving work instructions, use grinders and tools, apply glue to voids, and maintain safety rules including confined-space procedures.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and operating hand/power tools. Night shift Mon-Fri 10pm–6:30am with comprehensive benefits and safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or related experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trim, scuff and reinforce blade types.
• Follow work instructions and adapt to changes.
• Scuff laminate surface with pneumatic grinder to remove gloss.
• Remove laminate defects with pneumatic tools.
• Apply glue to voids inside and outside the blade.
• Comply with confined-space plan when working inside the blade.
• May work with various chemicals.
• Grind excess glass and resin at root ends.
• Clean inside of blade of dust and debris.
• Wear required PPE and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S standards.
