Job Summary

Responsible for seating residents in the dining room and handling customer service situations as they arise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or seating preferences.
2. Create an enjoyable dining experience and promote a safe, clean environment.
3. Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate flexibility and patience, and show interest in people.
4. Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
5. Supervise food-service associates to ensure proper service, food handling, and sanitation.
6. Assist in training new team members.
7. Oversee the closing of the dining room, ensuring side work and setup are completed.
8. Follow emergency safety procedures and assist in evacuations if needed.
9. Assist with service tasks, including bussing and food service, maintaining safety standards.
10. Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines as needed.
11. Collaborate with staff across departments during events or functions.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
