Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves, cleans, and packs up after events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies to events.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Prepares tables and decorations.
• Sets up buffet with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and drinks to guests.
• Clears and cleans after events.
• Returns leftover food, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes and collects comment cards.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the catering area.
• Provides friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit if required by law.
