Position Details

Location: Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh University Center

Our Bistro serves made-to-order breakfast and lunch items, coffee, specialty drinks, light dinner, and cocktails daily.

We Are Looking For

• Full-Time Morning/Evening Bistro Attendant - able to serve and bartend
• Part-Time Morning/Afternoon Bistro Attendant - able to serve and bartend

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during high volume or unusual events
• Ensure 100% guest satisfaction through proactive decision-making and problem-solving
• Monitor food and beverage operations, assist in resolving guest issues
• Keep workspace clean and organized
• Attend work punctually and regularly
• Engage with guests, understand needs, and communicate effectively
• Experience with cashiering and basic computer skills helpful, including Toast Systems
• Handle cash accurately, count money before shifts, and maintain transaction records
• Maintain cleanliness of appliances and counters
• Greet and welcome customers professionally
• Resolve customer complaints or escalate appropriately
• Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
• Dress neatly and uphold integrity, honesty, and accountability
• Be flexible with varied working hours and weekends
