Essential Job Functions

- Greet guests warmly, explain specials and promotions.
- Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
- Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
- Input orders into the POS system for kitchen processing.
- Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments.
- Comply with liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
- Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
- Market and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
- Assist bus staff in clearing and resetting tables.
- Complete side work such as replenishing condiments and restocking.
- Perform cleaning tasks as assigned using standard hotel products.
- Present checks promptly.
- Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures.
- Know fire prevention and emergency protocols.
- Use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and groomed appearance as per the handbook.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and assist team members when needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of liquor laws related to serving minors and intoxicated guests.
- Current Food Handler Card or in certification process.
- Valid TABC license.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage service, guest relations, and etiquette.
- Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
- Basic English communication skills for inquiries and instructions.
- Ability to interpret product labeling and promote menu items.
- Operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker.
Physical Demands
- Transport up to 30 lbs. frequently in a crowded environment.
- Lift up to 30 pounds maximum.
- Stand and walk constantly; perform twisting, bending, reaching, and other movements.
