Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh University Center is seeking a Server / Bartender for our Bistro, which offers made-to-order breakfast and lunch, coffee, specialty drinks, light dinner, and cocktails.

We are hiring:

1. Full-Time Morning/Evening Bistro Attendant - capable of serving and bartending
2. Part-Time Morning/Afternoon Bistro Attendant - capable of serving and bartending

Responsibilities:

• Remain calm during busy or unusual events
• Ensure guest satisfaction through decision-making and problem-solving
• Monitor operations and assist in resolving guest issues
• Keep workspace clean and organized
• Attend work punctually and regularly
• Engage with guests, understanding and responding to their needs
• Experience with cashiering and basic computer skills are helpful; Toast Systems knowledge is a plus
• Count money accurately before shifts to prevent errors
• Maintain cleanliness of appliances and work area
• Greet and welcome customers professionally
• Handle complaints appropriately or escalate to management
• Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
• Handle money, currencies, and coins proficiently
• Perform repetitive tasks accurately
• Maintain transaction records on computers
• Display excellent interpersonal skills and politeness
• Dress neatly and professionally
• Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and accountability
• Work flexible hours including weekends
